No need to have a  Bubble Therapy Foot Spa. I purchased this plastic tub and simply love it.

It holds more water than my bubble soaker.

It's a nice alternative and works BETTER when you add oils and salts.

Plus, I boil a kettle of water and add more hot water when it gets cold.

What I add to my water:

Carrier Oil - Choose one or more that you like, including Olive Oil.  When I soak in a plastic tub I'm more aggressive with the additives. I'm concerned about clogging the jets when I use the Bubble Soaker.

Essential Oil: I like to add a few drops of one or more of these to the water. **Tea Tree is a must (Add any that you choose.)

Tea Tree Oil, Cinnamon Bark, Peppermint, Spearmint, Turmeric (it smells)

You can order all of these from Amazon

EPSOM SALT

I don't see a big need to purchase expensive Epsom Salt. Dr. Teal's is sold in my grocery store and I love it. The Eucalyptus Spearmint is highly recommended. CVS or a no-name brand will get the job done. Your added essential oils will make plain Epsom Salt better.

Time for Baby Feet Softness

Follow the instructions on the Foot Mask PEEL. I've used Baby Foot too. I get my foot masks on Amazon. They have masks with or without scent.

The instructions recommend leaving the foot peel mask on for 1 hour.

I like to SLEEP with my foot mask on. I would not suggest trying this your first time. My feet are not sensitive to the mask.

I put the masks on my feet and then put on the plastic bags I purchase on Amazon with a pair of tight-fitting socks. I like to do my soak before bed so I'm not squish, squishing around the house. Either way, my plastic bag, socks & pedicure flip-flops work well if you have to do some walking about.

Wow! I purchased these in 2017 and still have a few pairs left. Time to re-up. I've noticed these are no longer available on Amazon. This has happened since the pandemic. The pink gloves (which were sturdy & inexpensive) are no longer available. Everyone is gouging prices for gloves and pandemic-related products.

I purchased these, of course, from Amazon. These are my pedicure flip-flops. I can paint my toes and slide my feet in. I like these because they are perfect when I have to walk around with my foot mask on. They are very cheap.

After you shower, rinse or wash your feet, apply your FOOT CREAM. Apply it daily.

If your feet are dry slather your feet with the cream, and put on a pair of plastic foot coverings (bags) with socks. Wear them for as long as you wish or sleep in them.

Pedicures at Nails Salons are risky. They may be a place to visit less frequently than normal. I have not been since the pandemic. Make a nice spa at home. Slowly build up your stock of essential products.

Each tub has different essential oils in it, The base is the same. If you look at the ingredients in the newest craze for hair, skin, and body you will notice they've finally realized what many have known forever - SHEA BUTTER, COCOA BUTTER, MANGO BUTTER, COCONUT OIL, ALMOND, ALOE VERA, TEA TREE OIL... are essential ingredients in skin and hair care. When you buy store bough you are only getting a DROP of the good stuff. Making your own is SMARTER, no water, no fillers, or additives!

BASE BUTTERS - Shea, Cocoa, Mango, Pure Coconut Oil, Tamanu, Beeswax...

BASE OILS - Jojoba, Avocado, Olive, Almond, Apricot, Grapeseed, Castor Oil, Glycerine, Vitamin E...

FOOT BUTTER I make this STRONG! - Tea Tree, Cinnamon BarkTurmeric (smells), Holy Basil (smells), Peppermint, Spearmint, and Lemon to make it smell good. I go heavy on the TEA TREE & CINNAMON BARK for feet.

BODY BUTTER  You want it to smell nice. This Butter is what I use in place of store-bought lotions & creams. A little Tea Tree, Cinnamon, and Rose is the scent for this one. I like citrus too, sometimes I go with Lemon, Tangerine, Lavender, etc. These can be strong, the best thing is you can keep adjusting until YOUR desired scent is achieved. I will give my recipe for a lotion (liquid) in another section.

FACE BUTTER  go easy with the essential oils, making it too strong for your face it can sting. Tea Tree is a must. GO EASY!!! Add a few drops of your favorite scent.  Tea Tree is good for teens or anyone with skin issues. It eliminates fungus too. I will do a special section on the face using my DIY Sulfur paste for acne, hives, itchy skin, and unexplained blemishes. **Vitamin E & Grapeseed are fantastic!

Hair Butter -  is made especially for my scalp. The key ingredient - is Jamaican Black Castor Oil!

Tea Tree Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Grapeseed..... I make a butter & a liquid potion. I will do a separate post on HAIR.

Pedicure Flip Flops

I buy a couple of pairs a year. If I only used them for pedicures they'd last longer. I do wear them around the house & to the store with socks. :-)
Now with the pandemic, fashion is on the back burner.
