The Eagles were inducted by Jimmy Buffett, ugh! He has the worst music. I don't want to go to Margaritaville. Not sorry! I just don't get it. :-(
The Grateful Dead and other hippie-dippie rhythm-less bands are not my vibes. I need music with a soul, I need to feel it inside.
The Dead sounds dead, plus Jerry Garcia had the nerve to say, Rap Music isn't music. He was so wrong.
There's more poetry in, Back That Azz Up, than anything I've heard from them.
I need to stop because I only half-know one Dead song. LOL!
I like many folksy bands:
Peter, Paul & Mary, The Mamas & The Papas, Simon & Garfunkle, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Byrds, Jim Croce, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman, BOB DYLAN!...
When the Black Crowes go hippie-dippie I don't mind. I'm biased.

...and NO I did not buy it in 1973. LOL! Probably in the 80s.
This was my first year attending the ceremony, I had no clue this wouldn't be the first.
I'm happy that YouTube exists and I can search and find clips of these magical nights. I get to watch and take it all in again, many moments were forgotten.
I totally forgot Lil' Kim was there. She inducted Earth, Wind & Fire, in 2000.
Attending in the late 90s & early 2000s it's apparent I got to see the last of the BIG ONES! It gets no bigger than Michael Jackson, Springsteen, McCartney, and Queen....
I'll stop teasing, you can see all the greatness in each post.
Putting this together took some time. I hope all the "borrowed" YouTube clips stay up forever.
I'm big on graphics and design, I can't just type words like a normal person. LOL!

I've led a very remarkable life and have had many unusual experiences to share.
I highly suggest blogging/vlogging or journaling. It's a perfect outlet for expression.
With technology close to the vest, so much is kept on our phones/the cloud.
We don't write letters, and nothing is tangible. I've always been a journaler.
Scrapbooking is a lifelong hobby, but now it's partly digital for me. I have a ton of pictures, memorabilia, and articles I must scan.....I'm getting there.
I like TikTok and other social media sites but many of these people are faking it.
I like to see real people do real things...not pre-planned skits.
I'd rather know what it's like to grow up on a farm in Oklahoma, than watch fraudulent IG people.
I'm not easily influenced or impressed. I've always been a Chief and I always do me. Skinny eyebrows and all. LOL!

I've learned a lot during the process. I rarely paid attention to the non-performer nominees.
I glossed over the Influences, Musical Excellence & Ertegun Awards.
I've watched each video and read up on their importance and contributions while writing this.
I've always known who Jelly Roll Morton was but now I really know.
